Internal Users (UKM)
Using grant
​
1.Download the XRD FORM
2. Fill-in the form completely - and get approval from your supervisor/project leader. Make sure the research grant code is active.
3. Fill online reservation form.
4.Please drop off your sample and official form in front of our lab.
5. We can email or you can come with Blank CD to collect your data after 3-4 working days.
XRD Form

Using Cash payment

1.Download the XRD FORM
2. Fill-in the form completely
3.Scan and email the form to crimlab@ukm.edu.my.
4.Wait until get Quotation form our site.
4.Please drop off your sample and receipt payment in front of our lab.
5. We can email or you can come with Blank CD to collect your data after 3-4 working days.
XRD Form
External Users
1. Download XRD FORM
2.Fill the form with complete address with postcode number.
3.Scan and email the form to crimlab@ukm.edu.my.
4.Wait until get Quotation form our site
5.Bring our quotation to your department/institute/finance to get P.O (purchase order) OR make online payment.
6. Drop your sample in front of our lab with P.O/receipt payment.
7.We can email or you can come with Blank CD to collect your data after 3-4 working days.

XRD Form
Terms & Conditions :
1. For Monday and Friday XRD operation just running half day. We reserve 2.30-5.30 pm for meeting, office activities and emergency case.
i) Monday - 9.00 am -1.00am (20-30 samples).
ii)Friday-9.00am-12.00 (10-15 samples)
2. For Tuesday until Thursday, XRD will running full hour :
i)9.00am-1.00 pm (20-45 samples).
ii)2.30pm-5.30pm (5-10 samples).
3. We suppose the sample in powder form, at least 1 gram per sample.
4. If you want to send thin film or solid sample make sure your samples have this parameters :
i) Less than width ( 1cm) x length (1.5 cm)
ii) Height (less than 4mm)
iii) Thickness of thin film layer on the substrate (20nm -1 mikron)
6. If your sample in pallet form, make sure your sample follow this parameters:
i)Diameter less than 20mm (pallet)
ii)Thickness less than 4mm (pallet
7. If your sample thin film like hydro-gel, please make it thin and flat or cut to small pieces as small as possible.

8. XRD result will be release on 3-4 working days.
9.For booking PC analysis schedule, the approval base on the best possible slot available.
